My role: I conducted rounds of 1:1 usability testing where I'd probe users on their experience. When not conducting the testing, I was in a backroom with stakeholders and actively discussing what common user needs weren't being met by the product and how we could change aspects of  the product to fit that need. Some of my proposed changes made it to the final product and can be viewed in this video clip.
